I am able to provide the following types of formal assessment for deaf, hard of hearing, and cochlear implanted individuals of all ages:
- Psychological and emotional functioning
- Intellectual and cognitive functioning
- Neuropsychological assessment
Interpreter services are not needed for an evaluation, as I am fluent in American Sign Language. Testing is done in my office, though other arrangements can be made when physical distance is a consideration. A typical testing session may last approximately four or more hours. You will receive personal feedback as well as a written report informing you of the evaluation results. Because I hold dual licensure in Texas as a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology, my reports and the test data they contain can be used as part of a Special Education evaluation, an ARD meeting, and other school related matters.
